Special Visit

Grandpa Geissler recently made a trip down to see all the excitement first hand. Arriving the same week that Isabella started school, it was a fun-filled week. There was plenty spoiling to go around! Here are some highlights from the visit.

Even Grandpa can play barbies! Notice how Matthias joins in. He loves to be Ken.

Making the traditional banana pudding. Enough to feed 300 people!

The finished product..mmmmm!

Time to show off the bikes.

First Day of School

Isabella Marie started Kindergarten this year. I'm not sure when it happened that we are the parents of a kindergartener! She was really excited about all of it, especially her new Hello Kitty backpack. She is such a big girl and LOVES school! We look forward to a great year in Kindergarten!

Daddy brings Isabella to school every morning and the first day of school is extra special!!

Ready as ever!

Off to the Races

Luke got a bike for his birthday so it was time to test it out. He is a little careful, but is slowly getting the hang of it. Here is our Saturday morning bike event.

Matthias couldn't wait to jump on the bike as soon as Daddy put it together. He got on all by himself. Daredevil...I'm telling you!

The kids pose with their new helmets. Isabella had to get a new one too and they both came with bike BELLS!! FUN!

Helping Daddy air up the tires and do some last minute adjusting.

Daddy stays close by. It's not easy to steer AND pedal at the same time. ; )

Luke decides to watch Isabella for a while.

An old pro showing brother how it's done!

Luke is FOUR

Our little Lukey turned four! Where has the time gone!? He is a FUNNY, loving, smart, thoughtful boy who LOVES his brother and sister and family. He loves trains, playing go-fish and wrestling with his sibs. He chose Diego as his party theme this year and planned the whole party. It was everything a 4 year old could want!

Luke excitedly stuffs the Diego pinata.

Painting while all the guests arrive. Luke's idea.

Time to whack the pinata. Isabella has quite a swing.

Matthias had to have numerous turns.

Luke almost had it.

Finally-CANDY!

Some slip-n-slide fun.

The cake. Daddy made the cake this year. Long story, but Luke saw a cake he wanted in a book. It was an ocean with gummy fish and so Luke wanted to do that with gummy sharks instead. We wondered how in the world Diego was going to fit into that scene! This was our most creative idea. Diego on an island with sharks in the water and gummy alligators on the two other islands. Daddy is awesome!!

"Happy birthday to you....."

Cuties

A mom doesn't need a reason to post pictures of her cuties...does she? Here are some cute ones of our time at home. We have had a fun summer and are ready for school time again. : )

Isabella has been asking for a puppy for almost a year. Mommy has been putting it off as long as possible so poor Izzy has to make do with her stuffed version. She named these two Lexie and Alazana.

The kids built a train track using ALL the tracks we had. They were really proud!

Lukey being SO cute. He RARELY looks at the camera!!

Love the "wearing Daddy's shoes" stage. How adorable!

Isabella made a self-portrait out of playdough. She loves to be artistic!
