Mommy's Favorites

Here are a few of my favorite pics over the past month. We are staying super busy with fun ways to beat the heat. Luke's b-day is coming soon and so he has been busy planning his party on a daily basis. Ahhh, to be three and have only your b-day on your mind! : ) Matthias is growing and talking more every day. The newest words are "car, more, and go." Isabella is enjoying the last weeks of the summer. She is writing and reading words by sounding them out. She loves to dress up and wear as many bracelets as possible. We are working on how to match the accessories with the outfits but she usually just puts on the jewelry that moves her at the time. What mom can argue with that! : )

Here is the fourth of July after-party. These kids CRASH after a long day at their grandparent's house!

This picture is so funny. Luke didn't want to wait his turn to play with the water wheel. After giving him the "take turns" talk, this is him. Notice the fists and pouty face. So funny!

I LOVE this picture! Every night before dinner we say a prayer. We all hold hands and this is how the three boys hold hands for the prayer. Matthias has Gus' thumb and Luke takes the other fingers. Isabella has Luke's left hand and I am at Gus' right hand. One evening I realized how I'd better jump and take a picture of that since Matthias is almost out of the highchair!

What could be cuter than a boy in froggie floaties with his watermelon dripping down his face?!
